About last Court of Honor

Posted by egutierrezvivas on Oct 4 2024 - 11:12am
Dear Scouts and parents, if you were hoping to be awarded a rank or a MB and were not, please email me. Remember that, for ranks, after completing all requirements, you still need to schedule a Scoutmaster conference with me and a Board of Review with Mr. Yutzler. For MB you need to turn to me the completed blue card bearing the signature of your MB counselor. Remember also to, every time your SM, ASM  or SPL sign your scout handbook, make sure Mr. Marietta (Advancement chair) gets a look at your book (or email him a picture of ihe page)

Dear Scouts and parents, last weekend we had a very successful canoeing outing paddling 12 miles down the Shenandoa river and doing one hard portage at the end, to bring the canoes back to our camp. The scouts perform admirably and will be awarded 12 miles paddling, 2 nights camping (or one), and several 1st class requirements related to watercrafts.

Bats and Fireflies Walk

Posted by jyutzler on Jun 8 2024 - 12:13pm

This is not a scouting activity but because it is local and hosted by Friends of Mount Vernon Trail (the group we served with last week), I am passing it along in case anyone is interested.

Reminder: fund raiser at Rockland's BBQ on Tuesday

Posted by jyutzler on Jun 1 2024 - 8:40am

The fund raiser runs from 4-8PM. This is a great opportunity to spread word about the troop. Heather and I are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
